Lynea enters into agreement with OBOS to acquire 140 new homes in Vallentuna and Norrtälje

Lynea has entered into purchase agreements with OBOS for two residential development projects located in Ormsta, Vallentuna municipality, and Björnö, Norrtälje municipality. Upon completion, the projects are expected to comprise approximately 140 newly built single-family homes in attractive suburban locations north of Stockholm.

The projects will feature a mix of townhouses and semi-detached houses, with modern layouts and premium product specifications. All homes are built to achieve Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification and are designed to meet high sustainability standards, using best-in-class materials and energy-efficient solutions. The homes are located in established and growing residential neighbourhoods benefiting from efficient transportation links, and proximity to schools, nature and leisure activities.

Construction is ongoing across both projects with the first homes to be delivered from summer 2026.

With this addition, Lynea has approximately 320 single-family homes under construction across Greater Stockholm. Since its establishment in 2025, Lynea has partnered with three of Sweden’s largest single-family housing developers, strengthening its position as a long-term owner of newly built homes in the region.
