Kielo completes its first acquisition in Helsinki Metropolitan Area
Helsinki, 30 August 2018 The real estate company Kielo, managed by Brunswick Real Estate, has acquired an 53,000 sqm office portfolio with three properties situated in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area ("HMA").
Kielo has finalized the acquisition of a property portfolio comprising of three office assets in HMA. The portfolio was sold by NIAM. The three properties are situated in established office areas around Helsinki; Vantaankoski, Herttoniemi and Leppävaara. All buildings are modern offices constructed between 1991 and 2013. The portfolio is close to fully let to more than 40 tenants. The transaction is Kielo’s fifth acquisition since the company was established by Brunswick Real Estate in October 2017.

Since inception in October 2017, the real estate company Kielo has completed five investments in growing Finnish regional cities and HMA. The portfolio currently comprises of 161,400 sqm modern office buildings, with a majority of the assets being built since 2000. The company has an active asset management approach and any older buildings in the portfolio will gradually be upgraded. The value of Kielo’s property portfolio is now close to EUR 500m.
